Industrialist Herbert Liaunig decided to make his collection of modern art accessible to the public by opening a private art museum in the village of Neuhaus in Carinthia.

bogner.cc participated in the 2006 competition for the new museum building as museological consultants to querkraft architects. Spaces were required for a permanent exhibition room, depots, storage areas and diverse secondary rooms and had to be planned under consideration of museological aspects. querkraft architects won first prize and were commissioned with planning the design. bogner.cc advised the architects in all museological questions and analysed the architectural plans, considering functionality, technology and museum climate.
