In 1989, Dieter Bogner developed the concept for the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna and from 1990 to 1994, he was CEO of the Museumsquartier Errichtungs- und Betriebsgesellschaft Vienna. In 1994, he founded bogner.cultural consulting (bogner.cc), an internationally active company dedicated to developing museum concepts and master plans as well as curating new displays of collections and international exhibitions. Bogner founded the Austrian Frederick and Lillian Kiesler Private Foundation in 1997, acting as president until 2012. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York since 1995. Bogner habilitated at the Department of Art History at the University of Vienna and is the author of numerous publications on architecture and modern art. Together with Gertraud Bogner, he manages the Kunstraum Buchberg at Schloss Buchberg am Kamp (Lower Austria).

Since 1999, Katharina Knoll has worked at the interface between art/culture, business and public relations as a curator, project manager and museological consultant. She develops and realises thematically multifaceted exhibition projects as well as culture concepts and visitor concepts/programmes. Katharina Knoll gives top priority to content as well as attaching high importance to teamwork and in-depth dialogue with both clients and all those involved in the project. To make a holistic, interconnected and multifaceted implementation possible, she coordinates teams from all design fields.

Finances and accounting
Gertraud Bogner co-founded bogner.cc and has been a limited partner since 2005.
She has been responsible for finances and accounting since 1994. Together with Dieter Bogner, she has managed the Kunstraum Buchberg at Schloss Buchberg am Kamp since 1979−a private collection of site specific contemporary art installations. Since 2007, she has been the editor of the catalogue of the Gertraud and Dieter Bogner Collection at mumok (Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig) in Vienna.

Angelika Hergovich is at the centre of communication at bogner.knoll, both within the company and with clients. She is responsible for general information and structural organisation of our projects. Angelika Hergovich has been with the company since 2004.

Nadine Adrian studied integrated design at the International School of Design in Cologne. She gained professional experience working as a curator's assistant in the design collection at the MAK−Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary Art as well as during her former career as a bookbinder. At bogner.knoll she works on various different projects.

Julia Kling holds a bachelor degree in English Literature and European History from the Universities of Bayreuth and Chester and completed her master‘s degree in History and Cultural Studies within the framework of „East-West-Studies“ at the University of Regensburg. From 2016 to 2018 she worked as a curatorial assistant at the Historical Museum of the Palatinate in Speyer. Since May 2018 Julia is part of the bogner.knoll team.

Esra Wedam studied art history at the University of Vienna and International Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She has been with bogner.knoll since 2010 and oversees the conceptual planning of projects as well as organisational matters during the implementation process.
