The winery Weingut am Nil is located in the heart of Palatinate in the town of Kallstadt on the German wine route. The traditional vineyard was taken on by the Pohl family in 2010 and offers guests high quality in a cosy atmosphere within its historical walls. There is a restaurant, meeting rooms, a small guesthouse with individually designed rooms as well as a wine cellar where visitors can taste wines and buy bottles at cellar door prices.
The challenge of creating the visitor orientation system was to provide optimum information and orientation for visitors outside, without it having too great a visual impact on the historic estate. As wine is produced on site, it was necessary to develop mobile elements that could be removed for a short period of time if necessary (e. g. during delivery/harvest). The design was implemented in cooperation with cleverworx! Marburg.
