In November 2011, the Zentrum für Vermoegensberatung (ZVB) was opened in Marburg. The building contains a conference and event centre as well as the corporate museum of Deutsche Vermoegensberatung, the largest independent financial services company in Germany.
Museum planning/exhibition concept
With over 2,500 m2 of exhibition space on three floors, the corporate museum gives internal and external visitors a fascinating insight into the world of asset planning and investment counseling. The first floor focuses on the history of the company’s development and success. In addition to the active family community, the many different aspects of the DVAG are pointed out using various media formats. For example, an interactive map of Germany visualises the growth of the company from its foundation in 1975 until today.
On the first floor, visitors immerse themselves in an exhibition with an entirely different content focus and design. In the exhibition Erlebniswelt Vermoegensplanung (experiencing asset planning) visitors can investigate topics such as investment, financial precautions, financial aims and wishes, prosperity, saving, etc. at interactive stations.
The second floor was converted to house temporary exhibitions. The current special exhibition “Michael Schumacher–record world champion” will be on show until early 2019.
bogner.cc was responsible for content as well as museological development for the corporate museum and the curatorial conception of the large themed exhibitions on the 1st and 2nd floors. Since the opening, Katharina Knoll has supported the Zentrum fuer Vermoegensberatung in terms of content and organisation, acting as project manager for all measures and exhibition projects to be developed or adapted and updated.

Guidance and information concept
Together with Robert Cristinetti/unit-design, Katharina Knoll developed a guidance and information concept for the whole building. The aim was to offer orientation in the building and improve visitor routing as well as to visually highlight the different subsections, giving them their own identity within the whole complex.
Mediation programme
A special mediation programme using tools such as an audio guide as well as other mediation formats, for example, special tours and puzzles, was developed for both exhibition areas. Here, bogner.cc was responsible for the preparation of conceptual guidelines and text production.
