In terms of its relationship to the other cultural attractions at Schloss Hof, the Baeckenhof, a part of the Baroque estate farm, positions itself as a children’s adventure world in terms of both content and design. This building complex contains a children’s theatre, a workshop area and a fun exhibition on the topic of “Providing for a Palace” that appeals to all the senses.
bogner.cc was commissioned with the conception and implementation. They developed themed rooms that use diverse approaches to reveal how people lived and worked on an estate farm, purely from the perspective of the servants. The exhibition is self-explanatory and is designed to work without supervision. It gives an insight into society at the time of Prince Eugene and shows the many different tasks performed on an estate farm, from working with animals to working in the fields, woods and with water, to the different trades.
