The district of Kufstein and tourism association Ferienland Kufstein commissioned bogner.cc with creating a master plan for Kufstein's museum landscape as a basis for a multiple-phase process. This process aimed to bring together the profile and thematic orientation of the individual institutions to create a unified whole, thus greatly increasing the ability of the area to compete on the tourist scene, both regionally and nationally. In collaboration with representatives from tourism and culture as well as local businesses, the museums in Kufstein were analysed in terms of their visitor potential, location and programmes, and ideas for possible new content were discussed. Using the results of this analysis, Katharina Knoll and her team devised three main projects, developing their thematic focus as well as methodological guidelines as a basic framework for content and mediation methods.

GESCHICHTS_RAUM–Kufstein Fortress Experience: discovering the lively history of the town on the border
LEBENS_RAUM–Local museum: alpine cultural and living environment
PIONIER_RAUM–Diverse locations: pioneering work and entrepreneurship–introducing a town/region
In autumn 2016, bogner.cc started to work on an implementation concept for the subproject master plan Kufstein Fortress, which is based on their museum master plan.
